I was just recently contacted by the Reunion Committee, and so, I will attempt to put together aİquick bio for you.İ Just a short note before Iİbegin.....İI started this task by reading some of the latest bios posted on the web page.İ Seems so many of our 76ers have had their share of struggles over the years.İİWe all know that lifeİcan be full of disappointments (career hardships, divorce, illness, the loss of loved ones, the loss of our own classmates).İ However, when I "caught up" withİall of youİon the web, I realized that each and every one of you who have experienced theseİtrying tinesİhave had the courage to face each new day with renewed hope and determination.İ My heart, admiration, respect, and prayers go out to all of you who have successfully accepted your challenges on a daily basisİand have become a better, stronger person along the way! İ Having said that, I know that I am truly blessed.İ After attending Chabot College, I was employed by several companies for a period of approximately two years each (Transamerica Airlines in Oakland, İHumphrey Instruments in San Leandro, and TheİSan Francisco Hilton and Towers).İ Most recently, I spentİ6 years selling commercial real estateİat Harbor Bay Business Park (located in Alameda), then moved on to become the Marketing Director for the same Developer for 3 more years.İ Sinceİthat job included both public relations and advertising, Iİleft to conduct someİ independentİconsulting with various advertising and print companies in San Francisco prior to joining forces with my husband's business efforts.İ I married Ian Berney, my dateİat our 15th Year Class Reunion, 12 years ago.İHe is, by degree, an aeronautical engineer, my best friend, and the love of my life.İ We were not blessed with children, but weİare blessed withİ15 nieces and nephews from the "Cunha" side of the family and 3 more from my husband's side; so, actually, we have lots of children in our lives!İİ Two years ago, Ian and I moved from our home in Contra Costa County to Donner Lake in the Tahoe area, and we love it!İİSince winter up here can get pretty extreme, we also live part-time in Maui, Hawaii.İ At the present time, we are both semi-retired, allowing us to enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, skiing and traveling.İ Over the last few years, we have explored Greece, Turkey, France, Italy, Spain, the Caribbean, Eastern and Western Canada, Alaska (a two-month camping and fishing trip...fabulous), Mexico, Tahiti, Fiji, Costa Rica, and next October and November we will finally get to Australia!İ Life is good, and I look forward to seeing all of you in November!İ Thanks for finding me.
